I had a great day at the Business Booster this week; it’s great to see our clients and get to hear their updates and share ideas. I also got to announce the exciting new products from the marketing team. More on that later…

The Business Booster gave me a lot of ‘food for thought’. Pete Wilkinson, our keynote speaker asked us to think about what the “best version of ourself looks like” (the vision) and what I have to do to be that person. For example, mine could be, at the end of 2016 I would like to help my team fulfil their objectives and ensure that we implement a great customer experience. Not hard things to achieve right? I just need to set my objectives and goals to get there.

This applies to business too; if your business was to be the best version of itself, you might think of things like “it’s easily found online” or “my students are happy”. So, what are yours?

All you need to do now is plan…

Now you know what your vision is you need to focus on what you have to do to achieve it. If I want to implement the best customer experience; an objective for this could be “Get referrals a month” and a goal for this could be “Report KPIs once a week”.

Setting your objectives and goals

January campaign materials 2016

As I mentioned earlier, I had the pleasure to announce new marketing releases on myMA to help you plan and achieve your goals for next year. You’ll find on myMA a new look Marketing Planner – we’ve created an online version to support your planning, it’s easier to use and you can print out individual campaign plan templates – a great way to steer team meetings. Also keep an eye out in the post over the next few weeks for a 2016 wall calendar – pop it on your office wall or in your school to help keep you on track for the year.

The January uplift is just around the corner, so if you’re planning on increasing your student numbers, we’ve produced some eye-catching marketing materials for you. We’ve separated adults and children’s materials as their needs are different in January. Take a look today.

Coming soon to myMA, I am super excited that we’ll be supporting your online strategies. We’ve developed three “Widgets” that you will be able to implement into your own website, to enable booking online and one lets you take enquiries. The best bit is, all the data will go straight into myMA – helping you with your administration but also helping the customer’s experience as you’ll be able to send automated emails and text messages. More on this to come very soon.
