2018 Parliamentary Review

NEST Management appears alongside Prime Minister Theresa May this year in The Parliamentary Review – a government backed guide to industry best practice. Established by former minister The Rt Hon David Curry in 2010, it demonstrates how sector leaders have responded to challenges in the political and economic environment over the year.

Each edition focuses on an individual government policy area such as finance, healthcare, transport, education, technology, energy and more. The Parliamentary Review is distributed to business executives and policy makers across the UK.

NEST Management features alongside the Prime Minister and a small number of outstanding businesses and organisations in the “Digital, Culture, Media and Sport” section.

NEST Management is a specialist supplier to martial arts clubs in the UK. In their Review piece, managing director Gerard Turvey explains how he combined his martial arts hobby with his experience as a director of a high street opticians chain, where his IT team had developed a direct debit payment solution.

The UK has been historically acclaimed for its vibrant creative industries, and this year’s Digital, Culture, Media and Sport edition of The Parliamentary Review proves that this reputation is still well-deserved. It elaborates on concerns for the sector going forwards and the successes it has experienced over the last 12 months.

In October 2018, company directors Gerard and Joy Turvey & Sean McGuiggan attended the awards in London, and listened to a wide-ranging speech from former Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Blair began by thanking all those at the Review for producing such “an amazing publication” and stressing that the publication has become “something quite remarkable.”

Each year, only 10-15 businesses and organisations are chosen to appear, and the total readership is around 500,000. NEST Management are thrilled to be recognised as an industry leader, we feel it is a testimony to the hard work of all the staff at NEST Management.
