WAG supporting London fitness scheme PDF Print
ImageOne of the country's leading WAGs has thrown her support behind a new fitness scheme.

Carly Zucker, the future wife of Chelsea and England star Joe Cole, has pledged her support to the Sweat in the City campaign.

The campaign, which is being run by the Women's Sport and Fitness Foundation and the Fitness Industry Association (FIA), aims to get more women in London to participate in exercise.

It offers free and mentored gym membership to 3,000 16-24-year old women across London.

Ms Zucker, who has worked as a personal trainer for a number of years, told the Daily Mail that she will teach clients as part of the Sweat in the City campaign.

Speaking about her chosen career path, she said: "I've always been sporty. I played football at school and have always done a lot of running. A career in the fitness industry seemed natural. I love my job".

A recent study by the FIA found that 40 per cent of people give up a new health and fitness regime within 12 months, the Guardian reported.
